We have a range of trekking tours available for you to choose from that have been specifically designed to enable you to experience some of the very best landscape and scenery that Vietnam has to offer. During the treks you will have the opportunity to sleep under the stars in a local family house.

Most of our treks start with a transfer to take us out of town to where the real adventure starts. Your English speaking, Local guide will be able to answer questions about the countryside as well as local ethnic minority cultures and customs. During the treks you will only have to carry a small daypack with your personal belongings and of course your camera. Our team will carry the rest of your luggage to home-Stay.

Detailed itinerary of local Sapa Local Expert

Itinerary:

Day 1: Sapa – Cat Cat – Y Linh Ho – Chai San (L,D)

Met up at your hotel in Sapa by local guide and driver for a short road transfer heading to Cat Cat village. After a couple of minutes, you will follow a road going downhill to Cat Cat village. You will stop by a waterfall and a hydroelectric station for a while before you trek on a dirt trail through rice paddy terraces. You will also enjoy spectacular scenery while walking along a narrow river. You eventually arrive in Y Linh Ho village of Black Hmong minority, where you can take a rest while you are served lunch nearby the river. After lunch, you head Muong Hoa valley. You will pass through Chai San village of Black Hmong minority and where you will spend the night in local house.

Approx: 5 hours walking/ 1-hour lunch.

Day 2: Lao chai-Ta van- Giang Ta Chai (B,L)

Once you get energy for your last day trek by having a delicious breakfast, you leave for a hikking to Ta van of Giay Village. Continue to trek through sleepery dirty trail in bambo forest then reach to Giang Ta Chai village of Red Dao minority. You will trek through bamboo forest, which belongs to Hoang Lien National Park. On the way you will pass by a waterfall where you will have time to take a rest and enjoy the surroundings. You will find a nice place to enjoy lunch. After lunch, you continue toward Su Pan, a small village located by the road. Here you start your journey back to Sapa by car.

 Approx: 1-hour driving/ 3 hours walking/ 1-hour lunch.

Bus From Hanoi to Sapa (Optional)

This is an optional extra.

The bus ride to Sapa takes about 6 hours from Hanoi and 5 Hours from Noi Bai Airport to Sapa or Return. If you get to Sapa earlier than planned, you can take taxi pay 2 us dollars or walk to Duc Minh Travel office for relaxing.

We have three bus options:

  • Sharing Limousine Bus: More comfortable of door to door service ( Pick up from Hotel in Hanoi drop at Hotel in Sapa Town and Return )
  • Sleeper Bus: This is a good choice if you’re on a budget and don’t mind sharing some space. Plus, the beds can be adjusted if you’re a bit taller.
  • Cabin Sleeper Bus: This is a more private option with a private cabin.
  • Single Cabin Sleeper Bus: This is also a private cabin, but for just one person.

Whichever option you choose, once we receive your booking, we’ll confirm it and send you your bus tickets!
