Itinerary:
2-Day Authentic Trekking Tour from Hanoi to Y Linh Ho, Chai San, Lao Chai, Ta Van & Giang Ta Chai – With Local Guide
Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Chai San (L, D)
Your journey begins at 6:50 AM with a shared luxury limousine van picking you up directly from your hotel in Hanoi. Enjoy a comfortable 5.5-hour drive along the highway to Sapa. The driver will make two short stops for you to relax along the way.
You will arrive in Sapa around 12:30 PM, where you’ll meet your local guide. A delicious lunch will be arranged at a central Sapa restaurant, giving you time to freshen up and prepare your belongings for the overnight homestay. You’ll also have a chance to explore Sapa Square and the iconic Stone Church, perfect spots for memorable photos.
At 2:00 PM, begin your guided trek along the Muong Hoa River, weaving through the picturesque valleys surrounding Sapa. This scenic route is lined with vast rice terraces, offering a deep insight into local farming life. Learn about the entire rice cultivation process—from sowing seeds to harvesting and cooking.
Tonight, you’ll stay at a homestay in Chai San village, a unique and peaceful village inhabited by the H’mong ethnic minority. Enjoy authentic local hospitality and immerse yourself in traditional culture.

Day 2: Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Sapa – Hanoi (B, L)
After a nourishing local breakfast, begin your final day of trekking. Your guide will lead you through Lao Chai Village, home to the Black H’mong people, then continue on to Ta Van Village, where the friendly Giay minority live.
The journey continues through slippery dirt trails and bamboo forests until you reach Giang Ta Chai, a village of the Red Dao ethnic group. You’ll pass through parts of Hoang Lien National Park, rich with native vegetation and natural beauty. Take a short break at a beautiful waterfall, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
Enjoy a picnic-style lunch at a scenic spot, then resume trekking toward Su Pan Village, a small roadside settlement. From here, a 15-minute car transfer will take you back to Sapa.
Back in town, you can refresh with a hot shower, then enjoy free time to explore Sapa’s local market or stroll around town. After your own dinner (not included), head to the Duc Minh Travel Office by 10:00 PM to catch the sleeper night bus back to Hanoi, arriving in the early morning.

Bus From Hanoi to Sapa (Optional)
This is an optional extra.
The bus ride to Sapa takes about 6 hours from Hanoi and 5 Hours from Noi Bai Airport to Sapa or Return. If you get to Sapa earlier than planned, you can take taxi pay 2 us dollars or walk to Duc Minh Travel office for relaxing.
We have three bus options:
- Sharing Limousine Bus: More comfortable of door to door service ( Pick up from Hotel in Hanoi drop at Hotel in Sapa Town and Return )
- Sleeper Bus: This is a good choice if you’re on a budget and don’t mind sharing some space. Plus, the beds can be adjusted if you’re a bit taller.
- Cabin Sleeper Bus: This is a more private option with a private cabin.
- Single Cabin Sleeper Bus: This is also a private cabin, but for just one person.
Whichever option you choose, once we receive your booking, we’ll confirm it and send you your bus tickets!
